Hey everyone, I’m a freshman at Northwestern University majoring in econ and something else that is yet to be decided. I love to play ping pong, piano, tennis. I think I could stare at waves or fire forever, and I love running by the lake at night. Uhh so this is getting somewhat cliche now, and what I write about will probably say more about myself than anything I put here, so I’m just going to list 3 random facts about me:

1.) One of the most frustrating thing about college is how limited the time is. There are classes and paths that I want to keep open, but I’m almost forced to close them because of time constraints. I don’t particularly want to be a doctor, but I hate knowing that it won’t even be possible for me if I don’t take a science class next year. I guess as an economist would say, every choice is a trade-off.

2.) I think a lot. And it’s not like I’m thinking of cutting edge solutions to the problems of the world, I just think a lot - mostly about my life in the present and in the future. My personality type is an INFP and I think it’s incredibly accurate, and I strongly believe that I am introverted - which I don’t view as a negative.

3.) The city of Dubai fascinates me. Not only for everything that is there, but because of everything it stands for. Dubai, to me, represents the future, and I can’t wait to visit in a couples years (hopefully).
